Fethaland

Starting at Isbister near North Roe, this walk is to the northern-most part of the mainland. Magnificent coastal views, ruins of an old fishing station and great seal spotting opportunities.

Parking:
Parking is possible at the end of the Isbister road, near to the croft. Be sure not to block any access.


Dog Walkers:

  • There are usually sheep and often cattle
  • There are fences with gates


Terrain:
Mostly gravel track from Isbister to Fethaland. Grassy on the isle of Fethaland


Possible Routes:
Direct route along the track and back. Follow the track and walk back along the coastline. Or follow the coastline all the way round.
