Coall Head

This section of coastline offers great coastal scenery from the Bay of Fladdabister to Coall Head. It's also worth walking along the Mill Burn, which flows from the Loch of Fladdabister, to see multiple click mill ruins along the stream.

Parking:
Parking is possible at the side of the road (see map). There is a layby with a sign for the walk.


Dog Walkers:

  • There are often sheep & cattle
  • Steep cliffs


Terrain:
Uneven heathery ground, can be boggy.


Possible Routes:
Head east to the coast and then follow the coast north to Coall Head. Then follow the streams to the Loch of Fladdabister past the mill ruins and return along the loch and south through the fields.
